Fire Storm 2007 San Diego

I posted some pictures here that I took of the fire from afar on my way home yesterday. I took a little video too that I will upload whenever I have a computer again...the winds where I was yesterday were easily over 70 mph which have helped fuel the fire.
Chula Vista has been evacuated from the east. The line is up to the corner right below my house at this time. Right now it is just voluntary. Our car is packed, the computer will be put in after the troops come to my door.
They have called a state of emergency, FEMA is on the way. There are shelters set up all around town. Most of the freeways are closed so it would be hard to get out even if I could. All east bound routes are shut down, there is one northern route to another firestorm.
The winds are slowing down so maybe we can stay, but I'm on the edge of the canyon which is composed of mostly all dead brush.
I'm listening to my friends houses going up in flames right now on the news.
There are security check points everywhere "in case of looting."

Good news...The winds are dying down here in Chula Vista which means we might not have to leave. They sent some of our fire trucks to another area...
It's really smokey here and hard to breath, but no flames are near.

Im going to make a quick video now before we have to leave...
PEACE!!!

God Bless!

UPDATE!!!
We are home safely...here is a video of what we saw on our way out...

Don't hang around there! Winds shift and fires change direction on a dime. I've experienced that myself. You could find yourself cutoff and surrounded by fire. You don't have any possession more valuable than your life!! Head for the girl's school, and don't delay!!! I'll talk to you soon.
